Brendan Bubion is an award-winning Southern California-based video producer and educator. He was the lead producer of the award-winning "Weekly Arts" series for KCET/PBS SoCal. His work dives into how each artist, organization or individual responds to the beauty and systemic challenges faced by the diverse communities of Southern California. As an educator, he has taught courses in filmmaking and documentary production at multiple institutions including Cal Arts and Champlain College. He holds a BFA in Film and Television with Honors from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Documentary Filmmaking from Chapman University. His work has received numerous awards, including a National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Award and a SoCal Journalism Award from the LA Press Club. He is a member of the Television Academy.​​​​​​​
